Gibbons Crib Walls 

The Gibbons Crib Wall system is a cost effective, sustainable, concrete retaining wall solution that stands out for its structural strength, design versatility and durablity. These attributes along with the ability to sustain differential settlement have been proven over many years internationally and within New Zealand.

Concrete crib wall has been utilised widely throughout New Zealand on roading and infastrucutre projects as well as commercial and residential projects. Compared with other retaining wall systems the Gibbons Crib Wall typically costs 20% to 30% less, for heights of 2m to 12m. Walls can be straight, curved or angled and incorporate landscape features if required. 

The crib wall units are manufactured in our factory in Albany to comply with NZS3109:Concrete Construction. They are wet cast in precise steel moulds using 20mpa concrete and grade 300 reinforcing steel and then cured for a minimum of seven days.

Gibbons has been providing a design, supply and build concrete crib wall service since 1969 and we are the major commercial manufacturer of concrete crib wall in New Zealand.

We utilise highly experienced engineering professionals to provide an independent design service and our site staff have many years of knowledge constructing cribwalls.
